US President Donald Trump said on Twitter today, Friday, that he and First Lady Melania had tested positive for the emerging coronavirus.
"We will start the quarantine and recovery process immediately ... we will get through that together," Trump said in a tweet late last night.
The results came after news that Hope Hicks, a prominent adviser and trusted aide to Trump, was infected with the new Corona virus, on Thursday.

Action movie star Dwayne Johnson, nicknamed The Rock, said in a video message he posted on social media on September 2 that he, his wife and their two children had contracted the disease, but they had all recovered.
American actor Brian Cranston
Cranston said he contracted the disease and recovered in a video clip he posted to Instagram on July 30, according to media reports.
US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien
US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien was on July 27, the most senior official in Trump's inner circle to test positive for the disease.

Famous Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son, actor Abhishek, said on July 11 that they had fallen ill
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, 65, said on July 7 that he had contracted Corona after months of underestimating the seriousness of the pandemic.
