Satellite imagery, last week, showed that a train, possibly
belonging to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, had been stopped at its compound
on the country's eastern coast since last week, amid speculation about its
health, which was partly caused by a protracted period of public attention.
Satellite imagery published by 38 North, a site that makes a
speciality of DPRK studies, doesn't mention anything about Kim's potential
health problems, and echoes the intelligence of the South Korean government
that Kim is staying outside the capital, Pyongyang. Seoul has also repeatedly
indicated that there are not any unusual signs that would indicate Kim's health
problems.
This has not stopped the increasing uncertainty rumors and
media reports about Kim's health that have surfaced since he missed his
grandfather's birthday, North Korean founder Kim Il-sung on April 15. Kim
Jong-un is that the third generation of his family to rule DPRK, and he has not
missed the April 15 event, one in all the foremost important events for the
North since he came to power after the death of his father, Kim Jong-il in late
2011.
South Korea: No information confirms the validity of a US
media report That Kim Jong Un is stricken by a heavy health condition from Kim
is of crucial importance thanks to fears that a heavy illness or the death of a
revered leader with near-divine passion by uncountable North Koreans could
cause instability within the poor, nuclear-armed state.
Several experts in
South Korea played down speculation that Kim is extremely ill. They also said
that DPRK would likely not face serious immediate turmoil whether or not Kim
was impotent or died because someone like his influential sister Kim Yoo Jung
would intervene quickly, although North Korea's long-term future political
future would be unclear. 38 North website reported on Saturday, citing an
analysis of recent satellite imagery of the realm, that Kim Jong-un had been
parked at the driving train depot to serve the Wansan complex since a minimum
of April 21. the positioning said that the train, which was approximately 820
feet long, wasn't on April 15 but was present on April 21 and 23. "The
presence of the train doesn't confirm the whereabouts of the North Korean
leader or indicate anything about his health, but it does add weight to reports
that Kim is staying in an elitist area on the country's geographical
area."
