His death was confirmed on Friday by a founder introduced by Bill Lawrence on Twitter saying, "He thinks a lot about Sam Lloyd today (Ted). Really like this kind sweet guy, many will miss him."
Aside from acting, he was an accomplished singer in Cappella "The Blanks". Lloyd's TV career included characters in "Desperate Housewives" and "The West Wing". Cougar Town and Ricky's Style in Seinfeld. He also played "The Beatles" bass guitar, according to his agent. He also starred in films such as "Flubber" and "Galaxy Quest".
Lloyd was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in January 2019. Weeks after his wife, Vanessa, gave birth to their first child, West. Unfortunately, the cancer merged so tightly that surgeons could not operate it.
Being a skilled singer with the Acappella group, his superstar Braaf proudly shared his Twitter page on Friday after news of his death.
