A special edition of Crocs' pair in association with Latin pop star Bad Bunny went on sale at noon Tuesday. Within 16 minutes, it was sold out.
Decorated with glow-in-the-dark copies of the brand's Jibbitz charm and the Bad Bunny logo, Bad Bunny Crocs was the latest in a series of long-awaited and fast-selling collaborations between popular cozy foam clogs and a well-known music artist.
The company's designs created with Grateful Dead and Post Malone - a serial collaborator with Crocs - were sold out within an hour. Other recent Crocs collaborations, including Kentucky Fried Chicken, have been similarly popular.
By late Tuesday afternoon, the lowest price for purchase of shoes from StockX reseller site was $ 265. Hours earlier, they sold for $ 64.99.
"In this pandemic, honestly, anything you might call comfortable has worked," Powell said. "Slipper activity is one of the few other footwear categories included within Covid."
Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican star of the trap, released his fourth studio album, "YHLQMDLG" this year. The album quickly became the highest-grossing Spanish chart ever, according to Billboard, and broke several sales records.

He's also made notable for his outfit, which alternates between basic Caribbean dad and designer streetwear, and has become a magazine cover star.
Michelle Ball, Crocs' newly appointed boss, said Bad Bunny embodies the "come as you" attitude that Crookes has always strived to sell.
"He has a very bold style, a very unapologetic attitude and he's also someone who loves Crocs," she said. "He has been seen wearing Crocs in live shows and in music videos."
"I always try to be comfortable," said Bad Bunny via email when asked about the collaboration. "This is not something that I suddenly decided to do, to be comfortable. It's something I've done all my life. I always like to feel good with what I have."
He added that he was pleased with the shoe's popularity and explained that his favorite color was yellow and green.
He wrote, "Wow, it was sold out within 15 minutes I think." Phillies.
Crocs has had a noticeable collaboration with other brands since 2017, when Balenciaga helped send their models down the runway in their foam clogs. An unforgettable series of collaborations with musicians began the following year with the first set of Post Malone shoes.
"Post was the first really broad collaboration everyone was talking about," said Ms. Paul. "It is a discarded object. People love or hate it." (Ms Paul, who grew up outside of London, was referring to the dark brown vegetable extract inexplicably loved by the British.)

For fans of Bad Bunny, the almost immediate lack of new Crocs was sacrilege.
Mariela Benavides was one of those who signed the petition, and she wrote, "I'm signing this because robots made me dirty, I just wanted to deal with my crocodile man."
Ms. Paul said another batch of limited-edition shoes could be launched.
